How we value your customer data?

We are actually not consciously or overtly looking for any of your data. We have no contact forms or newsletters. We don’t actually want your email address or any of your personal data. We do (sometimes) use google analytics so they would likely be collecting certain data. We also use Youtube embeds for our video and no doubt they too collect data. Our music is available through links to bandcamp and the usual online music platforms, which are managed by our publishing labels and their distributors. There are links to our online shop at ecwid.com, our facebook page, our instagram, our twitter, and our Google + who also all likely love the idea of data collection and use their own codes for cookies etc.. This seems to be an accepted and understood practice.

Our intention is to have a website that gives you a deeper insight into what we do. A platform for the videos we’ve created or that others have created. A platform for the music that we’ve created. A platform for our thoughts and a place to list upcoming events. We are not seeking your data. Rather than have your data, we’d like to share ours with you.

If you have questions please write to us info@icosmo.de.

Above, you can allow or disallow any cookies.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from .. https://www.knowyourcompliance.com/gdpr-compliance-statement-template/

Our website address is: http://www.icosmo.de

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

There is no commenting enabled on this site. We don’t ask for any visitor or any other data: no email addresses, no accounts, no possibility of logging in, no newsletters, no comments, no numbers, no contact form so the following doesn’t really apply to this site but it exists as a new standard.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.

The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Analytics
in this subsection you should note what analytics package you use, how users can opt out of analytics tracking, and a link to your analytics provider’s privacy policy, if any.

Ok, we do use Google Analytics sometimes, and youtube, bandcamp, soundcloud embeds for our content and they may all be getting data from us all.

Here are links to their privacy policies page:

Google Analytics https://policies.google.com/privacy

Youtube https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7671399?hl=en

Bandcamp https://bandcamp.com/privacy

Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/pages/privacy

While the law of having a stated privacy policy isn’t brand new, it isn’t that old and the legalese is a lot to get through in order to reach some level of understanding.

By default our website content managment wordpress does not collect any analytics data. However, many web hosting accounts collect some anonymous analytics data. You may also have installed a WordPress plugin that provides analytics services. In that case, add information from that plugin here.

I don’t believe that we are using any plugins that fit that category.

One more time for clarity:
We don’t ask any visitor to our site for any data, no email addresses, no accounts, no possibility of logging in, no newsletters, no comments, no numbers, we just want you to enjoy some new sounds and sights and thoughts with no strings attached (except for the possible ones from google analytics, youtube, soundcloud, bandcamp, facebook, twitter and instagram).

Our online shop is an external page (ECWID.com) and managed by this provider. The onilne shop is an embedded external website with their own privacy policy, terms and conditions.

The online shopping process and final downloading of the order on this online shop is 100% handeled by ECWID.com and if you have any order issues, please contact ECWID directly.
Icosmo is responsible for the applications on our icosmo.ecwid.com shop and if you have any problems with the purchased software, contact us directly.
